Teresa Marie Jones was born with defective kidneys due to unknown causes. In 1997 she had a successful kidney transplant donated by her brother Bryan.
By 2001 her body began to reject the kidney. Since then, her kidney function has been slowly decreasing, and is now in stage 5 renal failure due to hypertension. In addition to daily medication, she is now on dialysis until a new kidney is available for another transplant. The purpose of this benefit is to help Teresa with past, present and future medical expenses.
